Jurors begin deliberations in Vioxx trial

ANGLETON, Texas - Jurors who have spent more than a month hearing medical jargon-filled testimony began their deliberations Thursday in the nation's first Vioxx-related civil trial.

Vioxx is commonly prescribed as a treatment for pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, and other acute pain unrelated to arthritic conditions. (See arthritis and joint pain.)
